Clay Michael Mumma

This weekend were finally getting to go to see Clay for the first time. We are taking a mini vacation and going to go shopping and see Clay. I am hoping that we can relax and have some fun. But not sure if that will happen, with two kids that are having allergy issues and Zach getting a new tooth hopefully it won't but a damper on our weekend getaway. I am excited to go shopping but I don't think anyone else is. So everyone have a good weekend.

Water Park....Finally

This weekend we finally made to the water park. We were suppose to go Saturday but we got rain so we ended up going Sunday before Doug, Sara, Noah had to go back to Arkansas. The kids had a blast. It was Zach's first time to the water park. He is a fish, so of course he loved every minute of it.
Splashing in the water, I think he could set there all day and splashed.
He loved his first time down the slide.
Kailey being a big girl and going down the 1st time by herself.

Noah and Kailey were going everywhere, we could hardly keep up with them. Good thing the water isn't to deep.

Kailey posing

Zach was crawling everywhere. He loved plugging the water with his finger.
The kids had fun, hopefully we can make it out to the water park again before the summer is up.

Rodeo Overload

Kailey and Zach going to the 1st night of the Rodeo. This is Zach very 1st rodeo. He really liked it and did really good and set through the whole rodeo without any fussing. Kailey had a good time with her cousins Logan and Conner.

Kailey went the second night with Ashley and Tess and Charlie.

Kailey and Charlie all dressed up to go to the rodeo.
Saturday morning was the rodeo parade. Kailey, Noah, Logan and Conner waiting for the candy. Uncle Doug and Zach at the parade. Doug and Sara and Noah came home for the weekend to go to the rodeo Saturday with us. Kailey and Noah had a blast. They did so good and set through the entire thing.

Aren't they cute. They love there time together.
The long horns going down Main Street
My baby all dressed up to go the last night of the rodeo. She is getting so big can't believe she is going to to be 5 next month.
Cowboy Baby
Kailey and Noah waiting for the rodeo to start. This was Noah's 1st rodeo. He had a blast.

The skydiver made a clear landing.Zach enjoying the rodeo with Aunt Ash
My favorite part of the rodeo. The Bull riding is also one of favorite parts to but we got rained out before they came up and Zach was out so we left early.
Zach 1st rodeo was success. The kids had a really good time this week with the rodeo and parade. One highlight of our summer.

Its a start

Zach is venturing to crawling. He is not really wanting to, he would rather have me pick him up or bring what he wants to him. But if I'm out of the room he will cry enough and get mad enough that he will attempt to crawl. I really haven't gotten a really good picture of him crawling yet because his movement is very short. But I took a quick video yesterday of his first attempt. I am sure by the end of the weekend I will have to be installing gates.

Never Mind the video it won't upload or picture. Not sure what is wrong but will post later.

Tidbit Tuesday

Nothing really going on today. Just making rodeo bows and finishing a block name. Nothing really important today except maybe my wedding anniversary, but I guess not important. Someone hasn't remember and I'm not to happy about it. But I guess since we went to Clinton to the casino and ate at Long John Silver that was my anniversary gift. Whoo Whoo. But it would of been nice to be told today.

Isn't he cute. Modeling mommy's bows. (Really took the pic to make his dad mad)

Pool to Pond

Saturday Kailey and I went swimming with Mandi and Ashlynn's kids. We started out going to Boiling Springs. After getting around we finally made it out there, to my surprise they closed at 6:00 and we got there at 5:00 and so we just got to swim for a hour. The water was so hot it was kind of gloss feeling so hopefully they will have nice fresh cold water in there for Kailey's party. Since the kids only got to swim for an hour we decided that we would take them out to the Cramer pond. Kailey wasn't so sure about getting in. She was afraid of the fish biting her. I wasn't so sure either, but it was cleaner and nicer than Fort Supply. So after walking the edge of the pond Kailey finally ventured in. Kailey's summer is almost over and sad to say we haven't went swimming very much, we haven't even went to the water park yet. So it took her awhile for her to warm up to the water again.

Lil Milestones

Well Zach had some lil milestones over the weekend. He was at his nana's house while Kailey and I went swimming. Nana called me and said that he set himself up from laying on his back. Nana said he was proud of himself and clapped for himself. Usually Kailey has to help him up after he falls over but now he is a big boy and goes it himself. He also said another word today "by". He has been practicing waving but he just hits his head but he did say by.

Summer Days

The last couple of days the heat has been terrible. Its not only the heat but the humidity. Since we have had so much rain it is hot and sticky. I hate when you got out side and your glasses fog up. Its been so hot that we haven't left the house much this week. Its even to hot to go swimming but never to hot to have ice cream. I took the kids out today for some ice cream and lunch at Sonic. Zach loves ice cream and so does Kailey. I don't think Kailey goes a day with out having a bowl or a Popsicle. Kailey is pretty good on sharing her ice cream with her brother. He was suppose to save some until we made it home but it was a melting mess by the time we made it home. What I didn't steal Sissy's ice cream.

Ending with a not so happy baby. He loves his ice cream.

Rocking and a Rolling

Zach is trying soo hard to crawl. He is starting to roll around the front room to one side to the other. He has started to get on his knees and rock yesterday, so he will be crawling any day. Which I am not looking forward to much since Kailey doesn't understand that she needs to keep all her little toys picked up. So I am sure the gates will be installed soon.

Oh What day is it?

I am still not recovered from the 4th of July. We were busy but those 10 hour days with two kids wore me out. I think I would of been back to myself if Zach won't of got sick. He has double ear infection, sore throat and pink eye and he has been one grumpy baby and has not sleep very good the last three nights. She finally took at three hour nap today so hopefully that means that he is feeling better and tonight I will finally get some rest.

This was Zach's first 4th of July. Not too much excitement when you sell the fireworks so Mike watched the kids and took Kailey to the park and did some things and then he went out to Mandi and Cody's house and watch fireworks. However neither kid liked the fireworks and stayed inside. They must be related to their mother. I really don't like doing fireworks. After selling them for 20 years I could care less to celebrate this holiday.
Zach's first 4th, I took a picture of Kailey just like this one 4 years ago so I had to do with him to.
The kiddo's posing in the there 4th of July pretties. Kailey told me this year," mom why do I have a different outfit to wear that is red, white, blue if its only one day." Well I guess that's a sign that she growing up and I can't get away with dressing her up more than one day.

Love the new hole in my ceiling, well if the 4th wasn't enough Mike got electrocuted while in the attic trying to hook up a new light the next day. Kailey and Mike were the only ones home and he said that if the breaker didn't trip that he would of died. Which is kind of scary, I got a call from Mike saying he just got electrocuted and I was at my mom's house and I freaked out and hung up on him and then tried to call him back and he wouldn't answer so Darren called 911 and had them meet us at the house. So he got to take a two minute trip to the hospital and he was checked out and after 4 hours they released him. Kailey was a trooper, she didn't freak out, she said that she heard Mike scream and came into the living room and ask what happened and went and got him cold pack, I am just glad it wasn't any worse, because I am not sure she would of called 911. So when I got home to finally broke down and started crying and didn't realize what was happening. So needless to say we have been practicing calling 911 and our address. So that was an expensive little light that he installed.

In the mix Zach turned 9 months yesterday. He weighs 22lbs and still has 8 teeth. He hasn't been feeling to good the last couple of days, so he has been has a handful. Just the last couple of days he temper is shinning back through and lets you know when he isn't happy. He has been teething is seems everyday but no new teeth. I know something has to be coming because he is alot of pain. He has a new habit of grinding his teeth, which drives me crazy. He loves to stand up next to me and is rolling around the front room but still hasn't mastered crawling which might be the reason why he is soo grumpy. We went to the city for the first time this last month to see Aunt Amber and Uncle Randy. He is starting to practice waving goodbye, but just kind of hits himself in the head. He says Momma, Dadda, Ash and sometimes thinks he says Sisi. He is sleeping in his bed, almost all night. He usually gets alittle bit at midnight and at then gets up around 7:3o and goes back to sleep and sleeps to 10:30 and usually takes a nap around 3:oo and and usually sleeps until 5:30 but not always. His personality is really coming out and so his red hair. His hair is growing like crazy but just in the middle of his head, so we might have to get a trim soon. He is pulling up on me and his crib. This month has flown by before I know it I will be planning his 1st birthday.
Well after being interrupted 4 times with the kids I am finally finished posting the weeks worth of caos. Oh the memories.

New Carpet!!!!!

Before Pic
Finally we got our new carpet. After 6 months of looking and debating on what to get, laminate or carpet. We finally decided on carpet for the living room and playroom and hallway and laminate for the bedrooms. I love it, its so soft. Zach and Kailey love it to.
Zach and dad loving the new carpet.
Now Zach can get to business and get this crawling thing down.
Kailey posing on her new carpet in her playroom.
After Pic

We are happy that we got the carpet in. It took two days for the installer to put it in so we slept over at Nana's house the first night because the glue smell was kind of strong and it was wasn't finished so we stayed with her. Now all we have to do is finish the laminate in the bedrooms, which Mike is suppose to install. Hopefully after the 4th we can get on it and get the rooms done. This will probably be the last post until after the 4th since we will working like dogs and selling fireworks. So everyone has a good 4th of July.
