Naughty or Nice

The kiddos got to go see the Santa in the park this Thanksgiving weekend. We wait for Noah before we go see Santa. Zach wasn't sure what to think of Santa.
Kailey told Santa that she wanted a Justin Bieber doll and a Barbie bike. She said that she was nice to Zach in front of Santa so she said that Santa is going to be put her on the Nice List. I told her that she had to be nice all the time just not in front of Santa. Santa watches you all the time. But I have a feeling that Santa will come through.
Noah said that he wanted Star Wars, and he excepted now. He thought Santa was going to give him his toys then. It was kind of funny.
Naughty or Nice? Can you determine what list they are on by their ornery smiles.
We finally got a chance to put up the Christmas Tree, however Zach didn't think the balls should go on the tree. He thought that they belonged in his mouth and the kitchen floor.
Zach attempted to help but he wasn't to much help. Kailey wasn't happy with him because he was right behind her taking off balls. So I took all the balls off the the tree and tried to decorate it without balls and just ribbon.
Our end result. Hopefully Zach will leave it alone and Santa can come to our house. I told the kids if they didn't leave the tree alone we would have to take it down and Santa wouldn't come to our house. I know I am a mean mom but it seems to be working.
Our attempt for a picture in front of the tree. Zach can't set still for anything. Hopefully the tree will stay somewhat decorated but most likely not. Now we just have to get presents under the tree. The kids will have to be extra nice the next couple of weeks because they have been told several times that they are on the naughty list.

Thanksgiving 2010

My stuff turkey. He had a good time playing with all his cousins.
Our Thanksgiving day started out at the Vassar's house. The three musketeers. They are going to be a handful when they hit the teen years. We got to see most all the family on Thanksgiving. It was a good time to spend time with family. I'm so thankful that our family is so close.
Headed out to Alva for the Eckels side Thanksgiving. We got to meet Aidan for the first time. Zach didn't know what to think of him. Aidan has a cute personality and was very friendly. He is such a cute little guy.
He liked Kailey and Uncle Mike.
Uncle Doug and Aunt Sara and Noah finally made it down from Arkansas. The kids played hard and had a good time.

Uncle D's 1st Deer of the Season

Darren got his first deer of the rifle season. A 9 point, 175lb buck.
Zach wasn't sure about the deer. Not looking forward to letting Zach go hunting when he gets older. Darren thinks he already old enough but I bet he won't last long before he got sent back for being too loud. We like the jerky but I don't care for the meat. So for right now we will leave the hunting to Uncle D.
Good Job. Looking forward for some jerky.

Sweet Boy

My sweet boy loves his sisters dollies. They fought over one doll the other night and it was very funny because he was very determined to get it from Kailey. Kailey on the other hand didn't think it was so funny. Even though Kailey has tons of dolls, they fought over this one doll.

After alittle fighting and crying I got them both satisfied and calmed down. They are definitely sibling, they are fighting and wrestling the minute Kailey gets home from school until bedtime.

Zach is so ornery. He is constantly getting into something.
Santa needs to bring us some boy things, Zach has is overwhelmed with Kailey's stuff. She has taken over the house.

My Book Worm

Tonight we had Book Fair at Kailey's school. Clifford was there and Kailey said she knew it wasn't really Clifford, it was just someone dressed up. Zachery had nothing to do with him. I couldn't get him to take a picture with him.lol. Kailey picked out some new books for herself and Zach. She loves to read so it was hard for her to pick just a couple books. Hopefully she will continue to be a book worm unlike me. I hate to read. Don't tell my childern.

Veterans Day Program

Kailey was not sure about going to school today for her program. She woke up this morning saying she had a sore throat, I knew she was fibbing so after a talk she decided she her throat wasn't hurting and she would go to school. She was nervous about being on stage and falling off.
Kailey setting with her class watching the other classes sing their songs.

Well she didn't fall off the stage. She wasn't even on the steps, I guess that's what nice of being tall. She did a really good job. I was very proud of her.
The Grand old Flag
Thankful to all the soldiers that have served our country and are still serving and also to their families for our freedom. Happy Veterans Day.

13 months

Can't believe it already been a month. Zach is growing up so fast, I didn't even get very many pictures this month it seems. Zach is getting his own personality and is a very feisty boy. He is pretty good playing and being good if his sister not around but when Kailey comes home it is a wrestling match and they will chase each other and bug each other until I can't stand it anymore or until one gets hurt. He loves hitting her in the head with the play kitchen pans and pulling her head. They are very jealous siblings. Sometimes I wish I could clone myself. Zach can't stand me giving Kailey attention or talk on the phone. He screams until I put everything down and hold him. Kailey is still having issues with sharing me. She has now come up with "Girl Time" and we have to do something fun while Zach's asleep so housework doesn't happen during the weekend because I can't turn down her ideas.

Zach loves his baseball chair. It is kind of hard to stay in it but he is getting pretty good. He likes to get snacks and set in front of the TV and watch his cartoons.
The sofa chair, I wish we would of never got it. The kids and Mike love it but I hate it. They run up it and jump off it and its an accident waiting to happen. But Zach likes getting up in the chair and drink his bottle.
Zach newest knot. He feel at my mom's house. I think he might be as clumsy as Kailey. He is falling all the time. But he goes 90 to nothing all the time so he jumping, running everywhere. He likes to throw anything, which he has a good arm so I am not complaining. He loves kicking around the soccer ball around the house and playing with his new birthday toys.
All bundled up for the cold weather. He doesn't like wearing hats so it should be interesting trying to keep his ears warm.

During his past month Zach has gotten 8 new teeth, they are not all the way in but they have all broken the skin. He not eating very well he would rather have a bottle but he seems to be getting alittle better. His naps have shortened a little so I am not excited about that but I'm still glad he takes one. We got his 1 year shots done along with his sister getting her 5 year shots so it was a stressful morning. They both got their flu shots, their first ones, so we will see if it keeps us flu free. We still haven't had his first year checkup because they keep canceling the apt on us. So hopefully we will go on Dec 6th. I am still working on getting his one year pictures done. Still haven't decide on who we are getting them done by. I promise I will get them done before Christmas. Zach is at a fun age. I wish he won't ever grow up. I love that he can't talk back to me yet and he can't run faster than me yet, and can't reach the door knobs to lock me out of his room yet, he can't reach the cabinets or the frig yet to get junk food out when he isn't suppose to yet. He can't run outside without me knowing yet, he can't work the tv changer yet to watch his shows. But he can say NO. So I know the terrible twos are just around the corner.
Look mom, I haven't used a bb for a year but I can now:). Good thing he thinks it is funny and then just throws it.

One season down

Kailey finished her first season of soccer. It was a stress full season, with games being on every Saturday and Mike working most weekends it was a challenge to get Kailey to play. Kailey did a good job with her first year but she is a follower and not a leader so she kind of ran around the field but it was all for fun with no goalies and no score. She had a good time and make new friends. She said that she wants to play next spring season so we will see.

Great Grandma's birthday

Today was my grandma's birthday, so we had a birthday dinner at her house. Kailey is the first grand baby and pretty spoiled by her grandparents. She loves them to death and loves staying with them. Kailey loves holding babies to, tonight she got to hold her new cousin Landry Hunter Wages. He is a month old and is the 9th grand baby. Tomorrow grandma goes to have two stints put in her heart, she has two blockages. We pray everything will go good and God will be with the doctors and nurses preforming the procedure. Happy Birthday Grandma, we love ya.
