Weigh In or Bust

Well its a bust. Its been a month and haven't lost anything.  Well I lost two pounds and then gain 3lbs back. The only thing I have been losing is hair and  6 inches off my waist. I didn't lose all 6 inches this month. Its been over a year time period. I have been going to the gym and doing aerobic. I feel better but I haven't lost anything. I have been eating healthy but I think I have the lowest metabolisms ever. I haven't figured out what to do to make it better. I can gain 5 lbs over night.  So I'm going to continue my gym and aerobatics going. I guess I will have to go back to hcg. That's the only way I lost weight before. So onto another month.

An Afternoon Cruise

Kailey and Zach went cruising today at Nana's Eckels house. It was Zach 1st time to ride with Kailey. He thought it was pretty fun.

We might need to install seatbelts, Kailey was going a little to fast for Zach. But he sure that it was funny.

 Zach thought he should give Kailey a ride with a little help from sister. 

Last week we had 10 inches of snow on the ground and today it was 81 degrees. I think mother nature is try to trick us. Sure wish she would make up her mind.

Happy Valentines Day

Kailey making her Valentines card for her Valentines party. She was really excited this year to get her cards done. I was a bad parent and didn't read her note right and she was a little late getting her cards to school. I blame it on the weather and the sickness. She got them done with a little help from me. She wanted to just give the girls Justin Bieber cards not the boys. So they just got play dough.

 She was determined to get the classmates names written on the cards by herself. She did a really good job. She is getting so big.

She got a poster with her Valentines card, another up on her wall. She has Bieber Fever.

 My Valentines Babies. Spoiled by their grandparents. Zach and Kailey loved every minute of today. Chocolate and gifts their two favorite things.

We spent Valentines hanging at Greatgrandma's house and then stopped by McD's for some Valentines dinner and then Nana and Papa Eckels stopped by to show some love with balloons, stuff animals and candy. Can't imagine ending the day any better. 

Cabin Fever

Over night we got around 8 inched of snow. It is suppose to get down below zero night. I can say I am sick and tired of winter and I'm so ready for Spring. School was canceled today and again tomorrow. It was nice to sleep into today since the kids have been sick and haven't slept very good. There is a lack of motivation and I seem to be so tired. There is alot of things I need to be doing but can't seem to get into the mood to do it.

Even though Kailey has been sick she thought she needed to go play in the snow for a minute. She thought it was funny to throw snow balls at Zach that had to stay inside.

Zach thought he needed to join Kailey outside but he still is sick so he had to stay inside.

            Oh ya I turned 29 today. We got out of the house and went to my mom's for my birthday. Last year in my 20's not to excited. I am hoping this cabin fever goes away and I can get back into gym. I haven't gone to the gym of a week and I am missing it alittle. I am not doing very well on my weight lose. I need to get serious about it if I am going to lose 50lbs by this summer. I guess I am going to have to starve myself to loose any weight. I am not eating as many calories as I am suppose to and I have been working at least 5 hours a week. So I need to come up with a new plan. I am also not going to post every weeks weight lose, I decided it would be more encouraging to post month weight lose because I haven't had a very good last two weeks.

16 months

Its already February and my baby is 16 months. He is acting all of that 16 months. I am pretty sure he is entering into the terrible two early. The last month he has become very independent and just being a little turd. I can't seem to keep in out of the toilet. I guess I might have to invest in some toilet locks. He has some new words this month - don't, whats that, wow, what and alot of Chinese talk. He lets you have it even though I have no idea what he is saying. He likes to point at Kailey and say don't. When Kailey gets in trouble he is right behind me repeating what I just said in baby talk.

He is sick again with cold and sore throat  and is not a happy camper. He is getting better but I am ready for some healthy kids. He isn't eating to good. I think he is going through a growth spurt. He is growing out of his 18 month clothes. He really needs to go clothes shopping soon. He is still in 5 diapers. He has learned to take his diaper off. He brought one dirty one to me the other day. So I am having to keep pants on him so he won't take his diaper off. He is still drinking several bottles a day. He loves his milk.

When I can get him to eat he want to do it by himself and is pretty good at it. He is using his folk pretty good.

I think he got more on his face than in his mouth.

Zach got to see his first snow. He didn't know what to think of it.

After we got some more snow, I let him go outside and check it out.

The last month nothing really interested happened in your life just snow and sickness. We all have cabin fever and ready for Spring. I am ready for Spring but we are going to have to fence you in because you head right to the road when your out front. Your on the go but your still taking your 3 hour nap which I am very thankful for. The last couple of weeks you haven't wanted to be rocked so you have your bottle and I go lay you down and don't hear from you until morning. Wish your sister would do that. I will be rocking her until she is 18 a believe.

Visitors... More than I can handle

The sick bug is still lingering, mother nature is coming, and the tooth fairy has come again.

I am soo ready for Spring and warmer weather. This last week has been touchier being stuck home with a sick kid that's not getting any better. We headed back to the doctor today along with Zach that is now sick. Zach has sore throat and got put on antibiotics and Kailey got some cough meds and got tested for whooping cough. The doctor seems to think that is what is wrong with her. So we will know within 72 hours. They both have to have breathing treatments and oh ya we are suppose to get 10 inches of snow tomorrow with 2-3 foot snow drifts. Did I say I was ready for Spring? Kailey is doing better just the cough at night so if she does better tonight she will probably be going to school tomorrow. I ask the doctor if it was okay and he said yes. That the whooping cough can take up to 12 days to show signs of having it so she has already exposed her school. Hopefully its not that but it would be nice to now what is causing her to be so sick. In the chaos of everything Kailey lost another tooth and got 2 dollars from the tooth fairy this time. She woke up freaking out and said the tooth fairy dropped another dollar on accident. I ask her if she was going to give it back and she said no she just wrote the tooth fairy a letter telling her that she lost a dollar and now it is hers.

Survivors

 Woodward was the only school system that had school in Oklahoma I believe. We didn't get much snow but is was so cold. It hasn't been this cold since 1996.

 We survived the snow storm.... However it seems like this was the longest week ever. We definitely have cabin fever and need to get out of the house this weekend before more snow next week. We did venture out and go to the doctor. Kailey has been sick since Tuesday, running a high fever and coughing. I finally got he into the doctor yesterday. They had to do the dreaded flu test on her and she didn't like that at all. They also did a strep test on her to. They both came back negative. They just determined that she has a bad infection and put her on more antibiotics. Last night was the first night she slept all night and she is still sleeping so hopefully she will wake better. So I am ready for some r and r but Zach was up at early this morning going strong so no sleeping in for me. Kailey seems to be doing better so hopefully we can all recover this weekend and start a new week Monday.
