It has been a long week. With school getting out on Tuesday it has made it a long week. The summer is going okay so far. No excitement, just Kailey and Zach fighting like crazy. I try to break them up or tell them to keep their hands to each other but they just don't listen. I guess when one gets hurt they will stop for a moment. Ready for a long weekend; however Mike is off this weekend since its a Holiday and gets Monday off to he is going to be putting Kailey's floor into her bedroom. Oh how fun. Maybe we will have the wooden floor in by summer is up.
Okay I am little ticked I can't add images until I get a google account. Really. I already have a yahoo account and my other email account. How many do I need. I have a hard time remembering all the passwords already. Grrr. Well no pics today. Everyone have a safe and happy holiday weekend.

Ugly Cry
Okay well today was Oprah's finally show after 25 years. I can say I was sad and cried alittle. I can't say I have watched every episode but I tried to watch it at night after kids went to bed. But today I did watch it with the kids. They were pretty concerned on why everyone was crying. Zach got a little sad. Too cute. I love Oprah she is such a strong person and only wish I had her back bone. No one will ever take her place.
Kailey being big sister consoling him. lol.

Peace out School is Out!
Kailey started her year at alittle scared and wasn't sure she wanted to go but with a great teacher she has had a very good year. Mrs. Williams is a great teacher and Kailey enjoyed her class so much this year. She always came home bragging on what she learned. She has learned so much more this year. I have no regret holding her back another year. She needed it to mature another year. She is so ready for Kindergarten but she wishing Mrs. Williams would come with her.
First day of class. All dressed up in her favorite thing peace signs.
Last day of School. Still wearing peace clothes. She got her Tom Toms Sketcher style. They are also peace signs. She likes peace signs.
The line hasn't got much better. Hopefully they will figure out something over the summer about the situation. Not looking forward to the first couple of days of next school year. It was a mess this year.
GO! Zach new favorite thing to say while in the car. He is a backseat driver. He yells GO as he sees the stop sign everyday.
Peace Out, this girl is out.
So proud of Kailey finishing her Pre-k year. She has grown up so much this last year. She is so excited to go to Kindergarten. I am also so proud of her because is finally going to bed on her own. Something we have been working on for awhile. So I guess she will be getting her Justin Bieber movie for her reward for being a good girl going to bed on her own for a week now.

Ready for Summer
The kids playing together nicely for a couple of seconds. I have a feeling they will be a hand full this summer trying to keep occupied. I'm not sure I am ready for the summer break. Kailey wanting to put up the pool but not I'm not sure if we will happen this summer. Zach will be wanting in it all the time and I won't be able to keep my eyes off him because he is a little dare devil. I got Kailey's doll house out from the backyard and put it in the front. Kailey never really played with it in the backyard but since Zach finds it fun to set in it Kailey has decided its her house and not Zach's.
Playing in the sand for a minute before Zach starting throwing it at Kailey
Last summer it was so hot that some days it was too hot to even go outside until the evening time. I need to get skinny and tan real fast. Easier said than done. I did the self tanner last week but not a real fan of it. Hoping we get a good rain and our allergies will start getting better so I will feel better and get my butt into gear. I guess I might have to go get a shot in the butt for that to happen.

Streaker
Zachie Poo on the loose trying to get outside before his bath. He is naked and ready for summer break. Ready to play in some water. Kailey only has two more days next week. Hopefully we make it through it. She came home sick Friday and has been sick all weekend with a bug. She is on the mends and hopefully be better for her last two days of Pre-k.

Who's the boss?
That would be Holly our basset hound. She is very protective of the family. She isn't like most basset hounds, lazy and fat. She is very hyper and jumps on everything. Most people don't think she is a basset at first glace. We have had her for 7 years. Its makes me kind of sad that is aging. I would love to have her in the house but bassets shed so bad and Kailey's allergies can't handle all the hair. Jacy her daughter is almost identical. The only way I keep them straight is that Jacy has one blue eye and one brown. I need to get them all to the vet for their shots, but Holly doesn't like men and its very hard for me to take her because she is so protective of me that she isn't very nice at the vet. Thought I would post about something other than the kids however she was first baby.

A big Weekend
This past weekend we had a Pinning reception, Graduation and another reception and Birthdays and a Wedding. Ashley graduated this weekend from Redlands Community College and got her Nursing Degree. Friday was her pinning and Graduation. It was a long day. The pinning was a four and then her Graduation was at eight
She already has a job lined out with Elk City. So proud of her.
Saturday we had a little reception for Ash. All the family came and had a good turn out celebrating Ash's graduation.
The Eckels Clan. We keep growing.
Picture with siblings. I think the last picture we had together was Ash's high school graduation. We aren't picture people.
Tomorrow is my big Brothers Birthday. Big 31, Ash's birthday was the 8th so we had a joined party on Sunday and went out to eat and ate cake. Happy Birthday Doug and Ashley.
Over the weekend my cousin Amber was getting married in Cabo. Congratulations Matt and Amber.

Get your running shoes on
I got gas today because every gas station was different and I was almost on E and I figured if I didn't get gas it would go up. The highest I found was 3.99 and the lowest was 3.89. I told Kailey today if it gets to $4.00 she better get her running shoes on because this momma wasn't buying gas. Even though Daddy works in the oilfield and they are extremely busy and I'm a single parent 99.9 % of the time it doesn't matter, he works more hours only means Uncle Sam gets more money.
I can remember when I was in college and gas was going up to $2.00 a gallon. I freaked out and was worried and it was right after the terrorist attack and thought how I am going to get home. I guess this fat chick is going to have to get a bike.
Grease Lighting
Monday we had our annual Mother's Day Dinner at our church. This year the theme was the 50's. I didn't have time to do a poodle skirt; which I would love for Kailey to be a 50's girl one Halloween but she needs to be educated about it first. I decided that I would dress them up as the characters of Grease Lighting. Kailey wasn't sure about it she didn't like going to church as a biker. But she finally gave in.
Kailey doing the hulla hoop contest.
Zach eating our 50's theme dinner. Hamburgers and fries and coke floats.
The hulla hoop contest winner. She was also the best dressed.
The men wear our Soda Jerks and served our meal. Todd getting into the action.
Zach dancing to the music.
The kids looked really cute. Wanted to get a better picture of them both but that didn't happen. Kailey thinks I take too many pictures. I told her well you should have plenty of pictures to have when you grow up.
I think we will have to watch Grease Lighting to get Kailey educated on the 50's. I love that movie. She liked the High School Musical so hopefully she appreciate the era that I would of loved to live in. Life was so easy back then.

Take me out to the ballgame
Kailey has started T-Ball season. She was pretty excited to go to practice but ask 100 question before we got there. She was very happy to find out she had two girls that she knew on her team from school. There was about 3 coaches so they are alittle bit more organized then soccer. One of the coaches trying to teach her how to hold the bat. We haven't work with at all so it was all new to her. I had to go tell the coach she was left handed. Still don't know if she will bat a lefty or a righty. I batted lefty but she said she felt better batting right handed so we will see. I made her change but she did go both ways. So maybe she will be a switch hitter which will make her daddy really happy.
I tried to take pictures of her before practice but she was too worried we were going to be late. So she yelled at me to take her picture so I could send it to Noah and show him that she plays T-ball too.
Kailey going after the ball. The wind was terriable. She did a really good job. I was really suprised she would like it so much. She has been coughing her head off since we got home so hopefully it will rain tomorrow so it will clear the air. We might have to double up her allergy medicine.
Kailey throwing the ball. I got her a right handed glove. She did really good. I had her practice which hand she wanted to throw with so I guess she will be a righty t-ball player. She told me she really had alot of fun and wish the practice was longer. So hopefully thats a good sign and she will like t-ball.

19 months
Zachery is 19 months. Zach is making me older by the minute. On the go every minute.
He has started to wear his sister's cowboy hat. We bought him some new boots. He likes them alot. He would probably wear them everyday if I would let him.
Zachery is an outside boy. He would stay outside all day if you let him. The weather has been crazy this year one day it is in the 30's and the next in the 90's. The last two days has been 104 and windy. Record weather for this early in May. We had to put up a fence up in the front yard because Zach will just run out to the road when the door opens. It has worked out really good, just hope he doesn't figure out how to open it or turn to climb over it. He has a neighbor girlfriend that he will just set and watch. I think she is around the same age. We haven't made it over there to welcome them into the neighborhood but need to badly.
Zach got his chair outside and decided to set and check out the girl next door for the afternoon.
Zach waiting on dad to get home. He loves his daddy. He loves any man around. He has become very friendly in public. Will go up to anyone and say hi and shake their hand. Kailey and Zach have become very outspoken this last month. Not a trait from me. So it's alittle embarrassing when your child talk and talk and to anyone.
Zach is in 2t clothing and wearing 6 1/2 shoes and still in size 5 diapers. He is growing like a weed, but I think his growing spurt is over for now. He is hardly eating anything. He is to busy to eat. He isn't drinking as many bottles. Probably 3 or so a day. He is drinking more juice and water and of course pop. He loves pop. He is has been helping out alittle helping take laundry to the laundry room and taking things to the trash. He loves taking his poopie diapers outside to the trash. The is saying a couple new words. Trash, weee, cracker. He knows where his nose is, he will point at his nose and belly.
He is the best baby, Kailey keeps planning for another one.I told her if I can another one like Zach I would think about it. I guess its because he is a boy. I love so much that he is so easy to lay down and go to bed. Not that I don't like rocking them but its nice to just go lay them down. Kailey went to bed tonight by herself. She wasn't to happy about it but it is time to start working on it. She did really good, she was out pretty quickly.
School will be out in less than 3 weeks. Hopefully we can keep on schedule somewhat. Zach does so much better on napping when he is on schedule and I need the nap time to continue.

Easter Egg Hunt and Suprise
Kailey and Kollyns and Aunt Ash
Zach ready for Easter Dinner
The Hunt is on.
There was plenty of eggs to hide and places to hide them.
Zach and Kailey searching for eggs
Zach thought it was funnier to throw the eggs. Hoping its not a sign that I will be getting in out of jail some Halloween like his Uncles.
The Easter Bunny bought the Vassar Grand kids a train.
They were very excited about the new "Auction Find".
Kailey and Zach got new build a bears from Nana Eckels
Kailey got a sheep and Zach got a duck.
Zach and Kailey also got Easter baskets from G-Pa and G-ma Vassar.
All tuckered out.
The kids will have many memories with the new Vassar Train.
