Kailey successfully finished her first year of pre-k. She had to go two days this week. She had water day yesterday and they played water games. I went and helped out the class. Today they had field day. She was soaked when she came out so she must of had fun. She said she was kind of going to miss her teacher, but she had a good last day. Her last progress report she has mastered all her math stills and she has improved from the beginning of the first of the year with her classroom rule, like following direction and keeping her hands to herself. She has grown alot since the first of the year. At first I wasn't sure she was going to make it through the year with every morning waking up crying and not wanting to go to school but we made it through it. She hasn't mastered writing her name but she is close, she knows all her abc's and can count pretty high. Her progress report looked pretty good, however we have decided that she is going to repeat pre-k next year, because of her age. Since she won't be 5 until August. They are going to be in a new building and it is going to be all day pre-k so I think that she will be better repeating with all the new changes.
