This past weekend I entered in my first craft show with two of my friends. Terri and Mandi. I think we kicked ourselves not giving us enough time to get ready for it. We had over a month but we were still working on stuff the night before. I didn't sleep much last week. Hint the crazy crafters. I am still trying to recover. I did my Scrapblocks, and Banners, and Bows and some flip flops, and cupcake toppers and some Goody Buckets and hats. Terri did blankets, bags and hats and fabric bows. Mandi did her Mama M's Salsa. We had a booth full.
Mike made me some shelves for my blocks, they turned out really good. Haven't painted them yet, trying to decide if I am or not.
All the flip flops
The Goody Buckets
The blocks.
I think our booth looked pretty good considering our space that we had. I was very small. It was the Mooreland High System that was putting it on and it was being ran by a bunch of high schoolers so you can imagine how that turned out. This was the 25th year for the school to put on a craft show but they were alittle disappointed in the attendance. We were to, but it was our first craft show so we weren't expecting much. We live and learn. But I did pretty good, got several orders and sold alittle. We are ready for our next craft show. But I think we have decided to go alittle bigger. Good thing we still have stuff left so we won't have to work our butts off for the next one. I just want to make a couple new things for the next one. We are going to try and do one craft show a month.
On to our next craft show. I think we might try and do Wichita but not sure. I need to get some e-mails out and get some more information on it.
