We started out the week with swimming lessons. Kailey's second year. She did pretty good for the first two days, but the last two I had to force into the water. She doesn't like jumping off the side or going under water. She is still kind of scared of swimming my herself.
Kailey with Erin her instructor this year.
Zach was dressed and waiting for his turn but once he got into the water with Erin he had nothing to do with it. So no swimming lessons for him this summer maybe next year.
Kailey doggy paddling
Kailey floating on her back. She had a successful lesson in swimming lesson. Was proud of her of finishing another summer of swimming lessons.
Sunday we had another family reunion. Barnes Family reunion. I didn't get many pictures because my batteries where almost dead on my camera, so I will post more pictures when Nana Barnes post them on Facebook. We had lunch and then we headed to the water park with the Barnes cousins.
Kailey posing.
Kailey and Zach loving there second trip to the water park for the summer.
Kailey had two ball games this week. It was HOT.
Kailey batting. She is getting pretty good. I think she enjoyed the games for this week.
Getting high five from the coach.
Kailey also started Library Time on Tuesday, she was excited to go but I think she needs to move up an age group. All the kids in her class where crying. Since her birthday is in August it puts her in a younger group. Will see how it goes.
Zach also had a active week. He is 20 months old. We had his 18 month check up and he weighted in at 31.8 lbs and was 34 inches tall. He was 98% in height and 96 % in weight. He is a growing baby. He is soo healthy, so blessed to have a happy, healthy baby.
He loves his water, playing in the water every chance he can get. He is going wild this summer, running everywhere. I can't keep up with him. He has escaped the fence twice this week. So he can't go outside without Kailey until we can figure out a way to keep him in.
Wishing his sand box was a swimming pool. Haven't decided if we are going to put pool up this summer. He is such a handful, I don't know if I can handle him and a pool and 3 dogs in the backyard.
Zach is learning so much. He is a pro at soccer and now he is taking up t-ball. He is pretty good at it to. He loves anything to do outside. Kailey and Zach are totally different. Kailey could stay inside all day and never get dressed and be fine, not Zach he is up at the crack of dawn every morning ready to go. Thought letting him go to bed a hour later would help the early bird but he is still up. He is getting his two year molars so he has had some cranky nights. Hoping they come in soon. He isn't eating very good either, guess he not growing thank goodness. He is saying some new words, he says Kailey alittle better, he says I want outside, shoes, I wanta swing. Ma for Nanna, he says Poppa. pee pee, ba-ba. I can't think of anymore. He is not taking naps as well as he used. He is wanting me to rock him for some reason. Finally got Kailey to go asleep on her own and now Zach has turned on me and wants me to rock him. I guess he missing our alone time during the day since school is out and Kailey is home he isn't getting all the attention.
I have been busy. Note the late post. I am trying to keep up with the house and kids and t-ball and everything else summer brings and now I am so excited Scrapblocks, Crafts N Scraps & More has expanded to Michelle Chic Boutique in Woodward. She is having me supply her with bows, blocks and flip flops. So I have been busy tyring to keep up. I also going to the Arnett Art Festival this weekend. So heres to another week of summer recorded.
