Storm Warned and Ready

Well we are setting here waiting for the blizzard of 2011. We aren't suppose to get the worst of it but we still are suppose to getting 4-6 inches of snow and ice and blowing snow and record below zero temperatures.

Check List:
Milk- Check
Diapers- Check
Meds- Check
Mom's Tea- Check
Water- Check
Candle- Check
Bread- Check
I just went the store yesterday so we should
be stocked up and ready for the storm.
Hopefully we won't get the worst of the storm but if so we will just stay inside and stay warm.

The crock pot is out and cooking our roast and probably the next couple days of meals
I have a few orders, so if it gets really bad I will probably be locking myself in my hole and getting my orders done. I need to get more supplies tomorrow so hopefully the storm will hold off until after lunch tomorrow but I don't think its going to. But I have enough to get started.  If not my desk is in much need of organization and the kids clothes need to be gone through so I have enough to keep me busy. Its the kids I am worried about they are already fighting so hopefully the storm comes and goes quickly.

Weigh In Wedneday... Week two

Well I can't believe January is almost over. I need to really get on the ball if I am going to meet my goal. However I lost my two pounds this week so I guess I'm on tract but one minute I get on the scale and I weigh 2lbs heavy or maybe 3 lbs heavier. I think I am retailing water because I am taking pain killers. I feel like a old woman exercising. I have still continuing with my aerobatics class. It would think it would get easier but it hasn't they have added something more challenging each time. But I am still enjoying it.  I have done better on drinking water and trying to eat a heavier lunch and light supper and that has helped how I feel. I am going to work on drinking more water this coming week and trying to get my metablism up.
Last week Weight: 272
This Week Weight 270
BMI: 39%
Total: 4 pounds

Visitor

Last night we had a little visitor in our house. It was the tooth fairy. Kailey lost her first tooth. She really had it lost for a minute or two. She was running down the hall to come tell me that her tooth was really loss and when got to my room she didn't have a tooth. She lost it in the hall. After looking for couple of minutes I found the itty bitty tooth. She was alittle hesitate to put her tooth under her pillow, she said that she didn't know if she wanted to let the tooth fairy have her tooth. lol. But she decided she would. The tooth fairy left her a dollar. A dollar for each tooth. ;).

Kailey already has another loose tooth. So we will probably be getting another visit from the tooth fairy soon.

Dear Tooth Fairy

 Dear Tooth Fairy,
My baby is fixing to loose her first tooth. Makes me a little sad. The another baby come out of her. First the the baby look, then the baby fat and now the baby teeth. Kailey went to her first dentist appointment and was informed that she has 5 cavities. I wasn't surprised but she sure was. So she has been taking extra care of them so she get some good money for her teeth. You will probably be visiting us in a couple of weeks. We expect good money. We have a dentist bill we need to pay.
Sincerely,
Kailey's Mom
The laughing gas was turned on and it was smooth sailing from there. I was really proud of her. The first appointment she was so nervous and started to cry and they couldn't do x-rays. So I was really impressed how she acted when she had two of her five filling filled.  She said to me, "Mom I'm tired, why am I so tired." I thought it was pretty funny. I think I need to invest in some laughing gas, she slept all the way home.

The dentist said that she needed to brush her twice a day for two minutes. Its not like she hadn't heard that before but for some reason when it comes from a doctor she pays attention. So fighting with her on a daily bases its so bad anymore. She has been really good on brushing twice a day for two minutes. She doesn't want anymore cavities. But if she inherited my teeth there isn't really anything she can do. I have a mouth full of cavities. I dont' have good teeth. They say the early you get your teeth the weaker they will be when you get older. Well my kids got them at 4 months so good thing we have dental insurance.

Kailey has her first loose tooth. She keeps moving it with her tongue so it should be out anytime.

Weigh In Wednesday....Week One

Its been a week since I did my last weigh in and I have been working out for a week and two days. I got my gym membership and decided that I would try out some of the classes they offered. First class was cycling, wow that was a challenge but I made it through  the 45 minute class. It was a good workout, I always wanted to try the class and I did and I liked it. But I tried the aerobics class that lasted a hour. It was so hard, I almost puked but I made it through it. It is on Tues and Thru nights and I decided that I would go with aerobics. It is a challenge but I did my second class last night and it seemed to be easier. It is a challenge and I love a challenge. Every bone in my body hurts but no pain no gain. It feels good to back in the gym and be a part of something. I don't know anyone in the class which I kind of like because they probably don't know who I am and so if I make a fool of myself I just brush it off. I'm getting better at the steps but I have learned I need to get my coordination back. I am trying to make it to the gym at least 4 times a week. but its just depends on the day. Some evening by the time Mike gets home from work, I am pooped and I just go to bed but I would get up before Mike goes to work but that would make me get up at 5:00 and I am not a morning person so I guess I will keep plugging along and go in the evenings.
  Weigh In: Week One
  Start Weight: 274
  Weigh In: 272
   BMI: 40.0
Waist: N/A it was 52 like a yr ago but I don't have a measuring tape so hopefully I can measure next week.
I am recording my food on my ipod app loseit. But I don't like it as much as one I found online but its doing the job I guess. I am suppose to lose 2 pounds a week to get to my goal. So I guess I accomplished my goal but still wish I could loss alittle faster. My weakness this week was not drinking enough water and still having my one pop a day. So I am going to work on that this week.

My dreaded "Fat Pics" but hopefully this will keep me motivated.

Tidbit Tuesday... Sickness

Kailey has gotten sick once again. She got a cold last Monday and stayed home so she could re cooperate, she got a little better but then the snow come and she played outside for awhile and the cold was back with a fever. She ran a fever Saturday and then Sunday night she woke up throwing up and with a fever. So it was a long night with no sleep. I took her to the doctor and they said she has upper respiratory infection. So headed home after 3 hours with meds and she slept most of yesterday but woke up with a fever and wasn't feeling any better. Her fever finally broke and she went to bed and slept all night and woke up this morning coughing pretty bad. So it looks like tomorrow will be another day at home and no school.

2011 First Snow

Zach didn't know to think of the snow. The first snow that we got in 2010 he didn't get to go outside because he had a cold. So I let him go out and "play" alittle in the snow. He kept saying whoa. He reminds me of Joey off of Blossom. Some days I think he says it too much.
His first time to touch the snow.

15 Months

15 months old. I am starting to lose count from month to month how old Zach is. Its going way to fast. This last month Zach had his second Christmas and go spoiled with tons of new toys that he doesn't now quiet what to do with. He got a new toy box to store all of his new toys but most of the time they are scattered from one side of the house to the other. He thought is was fun to set in the toy box before I got it in his room and filled it with his new toys.
He his first new motorized fire truck. He likes to set in it but the our house is way to small for his to ride in the house so he gets mad because he runs into things and can't figure out how to make it work. So Kailey has been setting on the back of it and helping him and has been riding it around the house. I will be glad when it warms up and he can take it outside.
He had a good Christmas and was such a little cutie dressed up for Christmas Sunday  at Church.

Zach a new hat from Santa and he loves it. Its so cute, he has had many comments on it.

Zach is still a good baby but I do believe he has had a taste of the terrible twos this week. He has been very ornery this week. He has found the toilet and loves to put things in it. I have tried to remember to close the door but if I did forget he was right there putting something in the toilet. I always know where he is when he is quite. He also has a problem not leaving alone the plug ins and he got a little shock the other day and cried but it didn't faze him because he went back for more. So they baby proof electrical outlets have been mastered by this baby. So I might look into something else.
Zach has been a daddy's boy this month. He loves his daddy and wants to be just like him. He actually wanted to wear a hat and wanted to be like dad. He likes Mike to take off his shirt and then he want him to take off his shirt and then he pats his belly. I guess its a boy thing. LOL. So I have two shirtless guys in the house most the the time.

Zach loves to go in Kailey in my room and watch TV. I guess the living room isn't good enough for him. Most of the time he will go in the rooms and shut the door and watch TV or get into something. He has started to take all of Kailey's clothes out of her dresser. He thinks it fun. I don't think its so fun when I have to pick it up.
Diaper Monster. Him and his dad thought it was funny to put diapers on their heads. Sometimes I think Mike thinks he is a kid again. This month Zach had another ear infection and had his first really bad cold. He had diarrhea and throw up for the first time really bad on me of course and all over the chair and then once in the kitchen and once in his bed. I don't know how we managed not to puke on our new carpet but I am thankful he didn't. But he is better now and going strong. He has added a couple of words to his vocabulary. "What?" his is favorite word this month. You look at him and he says What. He says Whats that? I can't remember anymore but I sure there is more but its late and my brains not working. I haven't been able to him say ba ba yet still working on it. He still just points and grunts if he wants something. He still shakes his head no when you ask him a question. No yes yet. He has started to pinch but hopefully that faze won't last as long as Kailey's did. He is still taking a mid morning nap. With Christmas break we got off schedule alittle but we are back on tract and he still takes around a 2 1/2 nap. He is still on the bottle. I think I might try to take it away this summer. He has become really good with his silverware. He likes to stab his food with his fork unfortunately he seems to be left handed. I guess it will come in handy when his dad trains him to be a pitch hitter. He is almost grown out of his 18 months clothes. He can wear some 24 month clothes. I took him to a new doctor his month because his doctor was out and the doctor thought he was 2 1/2 years old. I don't think he is that big but he is a pretty healthy boy.
